You bought the thing for a reason.
To have a cleaner kitchen. A softer evening. A little music while you cook. Not to learn a protocol, collect another set of account credentials or become the person who fixes the Wi-Fi.
Nereli starts with that distance: the space between what a device can do and what a person can actually get it to do.
Technology should take something off your mind. Not move in and make itself comfortable.
Not more intelligence. More consideration.
We are not trying to give every object a personality. We are designing a considerate connection: find a supported path, ask for the necessary access, do one useful thing and check what actually happened.
When a manufacturer step is unavoidable, say so before setup. When a task’s outcome is unknown, say unknown. When a repair restores a connection, do not surprise someone by replaying an old job.
A small beginning is a serious beginning.
The starting point is a stationary gateway, a limited device catalog and a mobile-first interface. The hard part is not making a beautiful demo. It is qualifying the same useful path across real devices, firmware changes and ordinary homes.
This design package is the visual and interaction foundation for that work. It does not replace hardware testing, security review, customer research or a supported-device program.
Expressive outside. Reassuring inside.
Our website is allowed to feel alive: sculptural links, a confident scale and a little unexpected movement. The app has a different job. When something goes wrong, it should give your attention back to you.
